Afton is the Place To Be!

Afton has been listed as the 'Best Fall Drive' for several years. Biking clubs find Afton a beautiful and challenging place to ride and train. Regional races regularly traverse Afton with their events.

Afton's Historic Village has unique shops and restaurants offering a range of options: the famouns Selma's Ice Cream Parlor, seasonal outdoor cafes, casual saloon atmospheres, to elegant dining experiences.

Afton businesses sponsor regular events such as Friday music nights at the Sail Away Cafe, wine tasting at the Swirl Wine Bar, and Girls Night Out on the 3rd Thursday of the month!

Annual events include street dances (May, July & October), Afton's Strawberry Festival (June), Afton Fest (August) and Afton Art in the Park (September) and Holiday in the Village (December). See more event information in the current issue of the City Newsletter.

Afton'sTown Square Park may be reserved for events. Facilities include a Picnic Shelter,  Gazebo, a Ballfield, Tennis & Basketball Courts,  Horseshoe Pits, picnic tables and grills. The playground & play structure remain available to the public at all times during open park hours.
